Hi, folks!  Just signed up for the forum.  My name is Aaron & I'm a 35 year old musician living in Chicago.  I've had my '75 550 Four for about a year now.  It's my first bike but I still I managed to put about 3000 miles on it last summer just scooting around town.  My mechanical skills end at changing oil so please try to be patient with my childlike questions.  Thanks!

Welcome to the site.  Don't worry about having a lot of questions, we all start somewhere.  Use the search button, it'll be your friend.  If you can't find it that way, just ask.  Unlike a lot of other forums that I've been on, there are a lot of great guys & gals here that are ready to help.

Thanks, guys!  We are having a weird warm spell of 60's here in Chicago so I'm gonna take her out of hibernation for the day and put on some miles.  It'll probably be back to 20's after that so I plan to put it back in the garage for the next couple months.  My dad who is retired but built Nascar & Indy Engines back in the 60's & 70's says I should put Stabil in the gas and change the oil & filter so when spring rolls around I can just change the oil again and be off to ride.  Any other winterizing tips for the next 3 months?  BTW, I have been riding it about once a month since the summer so I haven't really "stored" it for the winter yet.  Thanks!  Aaron
