I like the NAPA Powersports filters and O-rings.  Although their listing shows it for an 78 up Nighthawk and nothing previous for a 750, but it is the correct filter in spite of their screwed up book.

i use napa filters too.  i just say i need one for a '79k and it works fine (my dad has a '79 k/f/whatever congolormation).  i needed a filter when i got my '72 k, and being a sunday napa was closed; my dad had one lying around for his bike and it works fine.  actually, i use napa filters and oil for almost everything.  i think i will try castrol for my bike this summer though (or maybe stick with the napa 20-50 since i get it at ford dealership pricing).
