Rear shocks again

Ok,
i read all the rear suspension topics, i managed to locate the Ikon, Hagon distributor and even some Harley shop who would supply me with Progressive shocks,(that's Athens, Greece) and guess what? I just realized that the Ikon and Progressive shocks listed in the applications list for each manufacturer for my Honda CB 750 K7 have a bottom bush(shock to rear fork) where there is supposed to be a small bridge to go over the fork bush(Not sure i'm describing this properly)

How did you guys go about installing your new Ikon, Progressive shocks then?

Thanks

Isn't that called a clevis? As in eye-to-clevis (not to be confused with eye-to-eye)?
