I thought one may have been forgotten , the may/june project  the unchopper

 this one started out as

This one is a 550
There may be a cafe 500 that I hadn't registered here either

  And possibly this one

Sorry , not trying to screw up the count , these are not the ones that got wasted in the flood that have already been registered , they are the additional ones that followed me home

A few Honda 500's, a few Honda 550's, a few Honda 650's, '72 cb 450, a couple 500/550/650 hybrids, and 2001 750.
550 Snowbike -Somebody had to do it.

Sorry, this was the April project. It's a sweep the floor 500, whatever was laying around ended up on this frame.

That 's it for now anyways.
So I'm caught up to March 23,2013. I write this because there are more projects that haven't been started yet and I'd like not to duplicate  for an actual count when they get registered.

Here's my 1971 CB500. It's currently in a lot more pieces as it waits for various bits to get back. (Pipes getting ceramic coated, rotor getting drilled, rear fender getting replace, and the seat waiting for upholstery). Hopefully they're all back on by the time the snow melts.  ::)

Bought this 550F last summer and slowly turned her into a road worthy bike again.
Kept her mostly original as aquired, only replacing parts that were gone. Got her through inspection this week and will register her next week. Happy days!

This one followed me home back in January.

Carb #4 was internally damaged, so swapped that out. Swapped out M bars with clip on bars, removed stock gauges, oil change, clutch gasket, oil pan gasket, shifter seal, fuel line and other misc stuff.

Brought this one back from the death, got new plate and tag for it last week.

Did few maintenance to stuff to it and now is a rider.  Running rich but sorting it out as I go.

Awesome! You're the one I need to thank. I bought this bike in Laconia and knew very little about what I was getting into. Most of my research on this forum has led me to repeat the same two phrases over and over: "Oh, crap! I need to do that to my bike." And "Oh, wait, the PPO already did that."

I owe you at least a case of beer for all the time and money you've saved me.

That said, it wasn't running when I bought it. It had spent a year parked uncovered, outside and ridden rarely. Once I got it running again it was time to make some improvements. Dyna coils, rebuilt carbs, drilled rotor, braided hoses, ceramic coated pipes and a new tail light are what's been done so far. Still to do is to install the rearsets and the new headlight bucket and gauge cluster. Sadly, it's still in project mode but I'm hoping to get it back on the road at least partially finished in the next couple weeks.

Looks good! Those are great pipes/muffs, what are they?

As far as I know they are the original 78 exhaust. I love them and the look, not like you see on all the rest of the cafes. They are not in the greatest condition though a couple small holes, so they might stay, they might not. I do hope so though.

The bike in pieces at the moment. Check out my build in my signature.

Bart Sitarski. 78 CB550k. Made a few mods but trying to keep it close to stock. Not drilling or cutting any original parts.

Welcome Bart, nice 550. The original 4 into 4 are coveted pieces if in good shape and yours look good.
