Slimey Crud, Peter Egan, 400F?
« on: July 28, 2005, 11:01:17 AM »
Whose bike got immortalized in the "Leanings" column?  (brand new Cycle World)...  It was just a passing reference to a recent
"Slimey Crud" run.

I come across his article about buying a 550 every so often and have to read a snippet every time -- thanks for that if you're out there....

The Slimey Crud Run takes place in the spring and fall.  It's a loose, mellow ride/gatehring in Wisconsin, west of Madison.  All brands of old bikes crawl out of the woodwork for it.  Some of them are in fantastic shape, some of the best restored bikes that I've seen actually on the road riding.
