Use your F3(?) head and cylinders by all means mate, if they're in good nick, but if not, get an F1 head and if you really want to make it get up and go, contact Mike Rieck (Mister Head) about some trick head work. He built me a killer head, and his work is superb. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Joeb,

You do not need to resleeve your cylinders for 836cc pistons.
Megacycle cams can suply 836 Wiseco pistons and head gasket and a cam developed to perform best with these pistons.
You can find them at www.megacyclecams.com.
Like Terry said contact the HEAD master Magic Mike Rieck who knows how to get the best out off this kit.
The biggest release of power is in the head work and Mike is tops in this dept.
Good luck with the project and keep us posted.

The '78 750F Combustion chamber is slightly larger to accomodate the larger valves. When you use the 836 Wiseco kit with this head you will not get the advertised compression ratio. I've heard varying reports on how much less compression but lets just say instead of 12:1 ratio you'll get 11:1 ratio. Other people on this site have used the F3 head and reported no problems.

If you use the K head you will also need to use the K cylinders as there are 8 oil returns in the K head and only 4 oil returns in the F3 cylinders.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame
