Here is an update of my build. It has taken a bit of a back seat due to the construction of my new 2100 sq. ft. tattoo studio. Hope you like what you see![/img]

Super nice,  But you stole my idea for a color combo  ;D

I always wanted to do a cafe bike in the vintage Gulf Oil/ Porsche 917 racing colors- You beat me too it!  Just needs the "Gulf" stickers....

Nice job!

Thanks! I should have put the time, and money into repainting the motor,it looks a bit crappy next to the powder coated frame and the paint. I just want to get it on the road! Maybe late on I'll tear it down and put a big bore kit in and make it pretty then.I have always been drawn to that color scheme, when I was a kid my favorite Dinky, and Matchbox toys were always Gulf replicas.I am painting the Mags black for now,but the bike will really be done when I can sort out some spokes with black rims, that will really set it off.

Looks great.  The color combo is a shock, especially while it's so naked, but once you get it finished it should be one that people will fall in love with.

2100 sq ft tattoo studio?  That's bigger than my 30 X 50 shop.  You gonna work on your bikes in there too?

Nice bike.

I know, its a big space! The traffic, location, and the rent were too good to pass up! What is the name of your shop? Where are you located??

I call it the pit, and we're in Idaho.  Right now, there are two jeeps, two pickup trucks, three bikes, a 68 Nova, a garden tractor, and all my other junk in there.  This time of the year it is more of a storage shed than a workshop.
