If you do manage to get set up to put the new sleeve in, here's an old trick.
Forget about 'fridges etc, get a steel bucket, some dry ice (party ice), some metho (not for drinking), and a thick set of rubber gloves.
Put the dry ice into the bucket & pour the metho over it (you need enough to cover the sleeve completely).
The bucket will instantly become icy cold & heaps of "smoke" will come from the mixture.
Put your sleeve into it & leave it for about two (2) minutes.
Take the sleeve out (even with gloves, use something like pliars to take it out - use your hands & you have no fingers-instantly!).
The sleeve will now drop straight into the bore.
I've used this on truck motors & it works well.
After about five hours, strain the mixture, mix with an antacid such as Sal-Vital and sip it slowly, it's called "bush champagne".
All bull#$%* aside, this works well and your wife won't go off at you for having bike parts in the fridge in the house.
