I had a Burt Munroe moment today...
« on: July 10, 2006, 02:06:59 AM »
I was working on this dumb ol' 77 400f that i've been bringing back from the dead, like, ALL DAY (and a few hours every day for the past week as well).

Anyway 9:30 pm rolls around and what do ya know, but i'm kicking it like a mother in the driveway and I start getting little spurts and puts!

A few more minuites roll by and a bike whitch has not ran for about 15 years ROARS to life (no muffler attached - just header pipes).

I'm happy as a clam just standing there admiring the freshley cleaned carbourators and at the same time revving the throttle for about 10 minuites making all kinds of racket and smoke etc.! (this is like, quarter to 10 at night i'm talking about here...)

Then I thought about the beginning of the fastest indian..

cheers;    will

Oh man, I couldn't wipe the grin off my face for at least 20 more minuites after that! It was the most beautiful sound i've heard I think since I got my 63' honda 50 stepthrough running for the first time.
