I plan to buy either the RR or the R6 sometime within the year, for my next bike.  to compliment my fine example of where we started, NO WAY is my 550 going anywhere since I"ve got blood in it now, not just my time and love, but blood.

my debate, is which bike I prefer most.
Pros:
600RR:
claimed dry weight of 345lb(figure roughly 360-380 with a full tank of gas)
lower seat height and more upright riding stance
Honda dependability

R6:
better looking exhaust
easier fender eliminator and turn signal integration in the rear
not a lot of them seen in my area (uniqueness factor)

cons:
600RR:
tail light is in the fender, not the tail section like the last generation RR
undertail exhaust

R6:
crappy local dealer
less comfortable riding position

anyone else into sportbikes care to share some insight?   I cant honestly make up my mind on which bike I like most.     were money no object, I'd buy both, and alternate daily which one I take out.

Buy the Honda. If for no other reason, the crappy-dealer thing would put me off. Plus, why thee more uncomfortable ride?
