Surely I'm not the only Tiger fan here... so I just wanted to see how many SOHCers are backing the Tigers!

as a side note on spelling, I am an lsu alumni. my diploma has university spelled " univeristy". after the mistake was noticed, the school requested we send in our diploma for a correctly spelled version. I kept mine.

Plus, IF they win, I can say my KY Wildcats not only knocked off the #1 team but they ALSO beat the national champion

) Foremost, I'm a Razorback and an SEC Fan. Of course, right now, I'm watching to see what's gonna come out of Fayetteville for the rest of THIS basketball season and what Bobby Petrino's gonna be able to do on the Football side. I am GLAD that an SEC team is in the middle of this too! After all, LSU IS a neighbor.

I went to an LSU bowl game once. I don't mean to start a fight but they were the worst fans I've ever encountered. I know every program has there share of hooligans but it was more widespread than any game I've ever been to. I saw a group of them calling a 72 year old woman the C*NT word because she had the other teams jersey on. Couldn't believe it. Like I said don't want to start a fight just an observation.

I agree. They call the stadium "death valley" for a few reasons. I am an arkansas guy who went to school in new orleans. I never went to any of the arkansas/ lsu games for this very reason.

go bucks(notice the lowercase letters and lack of exclamation points) I gotta root for the home team even tho Northern Ohioans are cursed. Last year, the Cavs went to the finals, and got destroyed. The Indians got to the ALCS, and despite winning games 2, 3, and 4, proceeded to lose 5, 6, and 7. And of course, last year the Bucks counted their chickens way before they were hatched and didn't show up to last year's championship game. I hope that they win, but I will probably be reading a book, whittling a piece of wood, or picking my toenails. I do care, but I can't afford any enthusiasm. It hurts way too much the next day.

Good ol' LSU...Home of Pistol Pete Maravich. It was calculated by LSU coach Dale Brown that Maravich would have averaged 57 points per game with the benefit of a college three-point line. The guy was unbelievable!!!

Man that is rough Bob! I was under the impression that you always wanted you rivals to do well so it made your team look better? As much as I hate Michigan (born and raised in Columbus), I cheered them on to victory over Florida (even though I threw up in my mouth when they won, HA!).

I did not cherp in any sooner as I did not think Ohio State was going to win. You guys have to remember that this year was supposed to be a rebuilding year with the loss of all those players last year going to the NFL. Not an excuse, LSU soundly defeated OSU last night. Still proud of our Buckeyes! To date I have only rooted against our beloved Buckeyes once and that is when I had the opportunity to play in the Horseshoe, good times even though we lost......

The era of OSU getting ranked high just because they are "OSU" is over. Loosing for 2 straight years to the underdog SEC team shows what a joke the BCS is in ranking OSU so high. The best BCS championship match up would have been Georgia vs. USC. I am not a Georgia fan by any means but after their routing of Hawaii, I believe they could beat any team.

My thoughts on LSU are they are not the best team in the country but they have some incredible talent and an amazing coaching staff. Les Miles and staff out coached OSU. There is no disputing that.

The SEC is the toughest conference in all of college football. Go SEC!

Hi Johnie, thanks for the complement on the little one. He is now almost 7 weeks old and growing like a weed! Sad to say it is a Harley t-shirt? I have had a couple of them and still come back to the old rice. The only bike I have ever held on to is my 73 CB 750. Although the Hellcat is the most brutal motorcycle I have ever riden! Too much fun, I will be sad when she goes on down the road.

Bob sorry I struck a cord. My line coach at BGSU was Michigan's O-Cord. for 5 or 6 years until he got fired a year or two ago. Good guy!

Rocker, come on now. I bet you good old OSU will be ranked in the top ten at the beginning of next season, depending on how many people go to the NFL they will have almost the whole team back. They only had a handful of seniors this year. I will give you right now the SEC is the best conference right now, times will change. To say Georgia is a good team because they blew out Hawaii is a joke. IMHO the two best teams at the end of the season were LSU and USC. What happened to Flordia? I like Urban Myer he coached a few years at my school, BGSU.

You want to talk about a pitiful game, Tulsa 62 - BGSU 7, rough day for all of our football alumni......

With just about their entire team coming back (we only lost Gholston and a couple seniors) OSU should compete possibly for nation championship again next season! I have seen a couple analyst's early polls and it has OSU anywhere from 4 - 6 right out of the gate?
