Newbie from TX
« on: January 09, 2008, 09:27:23 PM »
Hi y'all!!
I'm new to the family, as I've recently acquired a 74 CB750K.  I'm in the process of turning it into a psuedo-cafe racer.  I'll probably use superbike/european bars, rather than clubmans, and will pass on rearsets; this'll be a daily commuter.  A few years ago I owned an 82 CB750F, and look forward to finishing this project.  Here's a few photos to show what we've done so far:

Here she is, as I got her:

Round 2; fairing removed, and cleaned up some:

Round 3; engine removed for refurbish, and bike stripped down for cleaning:

Welcome!  I think you'll like the Euro style bars, they look great on a 750.

Where in Texas?

Welcome to the site.  I'm glad you got rid of the giant lump of wasted fiberglass sitting on the front end.  ;)

Gosh. I think the empty frame looked tantalizing...like an empty canvas!  :)
...maybe I'm just jealous...
