Now Dan, I don't care to much for the Dixieland Song. You know why.

Here's a good video for you,
Steve with Emmy Lou.
She's one of the best too!

Last year my co-workers and I decided to figure out how many J. Cash cds we had between us.  The grand total was 14 (not counting doubles) so we combined all of the albums into a 14 hour mix cd and listened to them all summer.  We would be painting a house, all four of us singing along to every song and people would stop to make sure they wern't imagining things.  Four guys under 30 singing four part harmonies to Johnny Cash.  It was one of the best summers ever.  And because we had 14 hours of music, we never really got sick of it.  Not sure what we are going to do this year, maybe dylan, or neil young. Or maybe another Cash summer.

I was born in the South Bronx if that counts?
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Cash is okay.  Some of his stuff is great, some I find to be best left for his true fans.

They guys I like who live a hard life are the boys from Rancid.

I just listened to "I hung my head" again. What incredibly emotive story telling, from a man who could see his own lone rider not too far away in the distance, coming to fetch him. Amazing. :'(
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
