Post some pics Mark, post some pics! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Not yet, had a caby leak on the day we were gunna take it for inspection, bugger, so took off the carbs and bowls , cleaned them up...

Sure enough , bit a crap holding a seat open, but every bowl had what looked like Murray River mud in em, so it needed that...

Next inspection day is wednesday, so shoot up there then and hand over the cash...  ::)

My arse is burning a hole in everything I sit on at the mo cos I wanna ride her sooo bad...!!!

they may be slow out of the hole. they may be ugly(beauty is in the of the beholder) but when you are riding one and get caught in a long traffic jam you will really learn fast to love that automatic.(go ahead ask my how I know)ps I own 3 of the .2 77s and one 78 with 2000 miles on it
don't buy it build it

Dave, I only rode mine on the road for a 300 mile trip when I first bought it and found it a great ride.
After that, it was all on the drag strip and boy, was that fun beating Hayabusas and ZX14s in Street ET, not bad for a 76 bike. haha.

A few months later, it twice ran 12.05 with early shut offs Vic, low 11.9s would have been possible had I not shut down early.

Well thats sayin something... three runs in a row and still happy as a pig in siht ...!!!I think my bomb will do me fine then ...!!!

I know there would be a trick or two done to it, but these old girls are hard to beat, used to take my 1971 XY 351 Clevo Falcon to a track(circuit) and run all day , had the FMX box then, no problem

Then I took my 2002 BA Ford Falcon Turbo to the same track and had to go home after 5 laps cos it melted, the fkn stupid computers etc shut it down ,blew the diff breather off too and oil all over the joint...

So give me old school every day of the week...!!!

A K or f tank won't go right on an A frame. Too wide. I even tried a 400F tank, no joy.  I considered relocating frame rails much like an A but where they would fit in a common tank.

Dont ya like the shape ...??? must say I dont mind it...

After an old dickhead did a U turn in front of me and I cleaned him up and my K2 , I chopped it ( cos the triple tree copped it) and after that soon sold it cos I reckon I just stuffed up a good bike and that was it for 40 odd years for bikes...

Now I wont mod the looks, donk yea, thats about it...

I have a 400A and if the 750A is anything like it then it's pretty reliable.  I have a buddy who owned a 750A back in its heyday and he said they were pretty slow off the line, and you had to be a pretty beefy dude to ride it because it was so heavy but he said he had a lot of fun with it for many years.

I like the look the 750A as well.  But yes, I could see people not being impressed with it... marketing as a beginners bike but is big and heavy and kind of slow off the line.  It doesn't even look like the 400A-450A's did all that well either.  Then of course it all became the Rebel later...

Yeah, no doubt the stocker was a tad slow, but what about a worked CB750A engine in a F2 frame? Will it fit? That might be fun! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Why would you want the F2 frame?

'Cos the 750A is an ugly fuucker, ha ha! I can live with the pain of frame out rebuilds, but I'm not sure I could live with the "A"s looks!

But seriously, who actually does "in frame" rebuilds anyway, it's a pain in the arse trying to torque down a head when you can't get to half the studs with your torque wrench, I can do "in frame" top end work on my GS Suzuki's, but it's a lot easier and more comfortable to pull 'em and do 'em on the bench. ;D

Aint "they" sayin the same about your latest purr chase...???

LOL...water off a ducks back...!!!
