Brought it home this past Sat..... 2004 CB900F "919" with 2300 miles on it.  As soon as it gets above freezing, I'm going for a REAL ride!

I was wanting the 599 myself.  they're nice looking machines.  the 599 I believe is the CBR 600 F3 motor, just updated with fuel injection, and the 919 is like the 900RR with the same

The 599 (in the US at least) was not fuel injected for whatever reason.   They still make it for the European market (Hornet 600) and it has FI now.

The 919 has a detuned 900RR engine..... lower compression, different cams, etc.  It has more useable torque for city driving.... err.....wheelies..... 

Only 2 more months untill riding season.

I could have sworn the 599 WAS fuel injected, but I'm  probably wrong about that.  still a fine bike.

yeah, you're wrong and the 919 is badass.  I always wanted one after riding one at the Honda dealer I worked at.  I may get one now that they are soooo cheap to buy used...but that damn Kawi Versys has me drooling!
