Just wandering is this the way to make bike run richer or leaner  thks

Yes.The air screw adjusts the amount of air entering carb at idle and transition to part throttle.

PS.If more adjustment[to richen]is required you can change the idle circuit fuel jet[slow jet].

the needle in the throttle vlve has adjustment would they be where adjusting mixture

The needle controls fuel amount from about 1/8 to full throttle.To richen,move clip closer to pointy end of needle
