GO PACKERS!!!
« on: January 18, 2008, 04:49:27 PM »
The Pack was paying $8 an hour for 300 people to shovel out the Lambeau Field seats in preparation for the game against the Giants Sunday.  This is the 2nd time this week we had snow and they paid us.  The hipe around Green Bay and throughout WI is at a high level.  I think they were at only 4 wins 2 years ago.  What a come-back for a 38 year old QB.  Should be a fun game to watch on TV.  It is supposed to be a high of 4 degrees with windchill at -20 during the game.  Ah yes, this is football weather in Green Bay!!!

Giants are a better team right now, but the home-field weather might give Packers the edge. 0 degrees and wind chills 25 below at game time is MUCH too cold for outdoor anything!

Yeah, well with fans like these:

Sounds like the football party got a little out of hand, even for Pardeeville standards.

Yup, I concede.  The Packers got beat by a better team tonight.  Giants looked real good.  Best of luck in the Big Bowl.  Time to put away the jerseys until next year.

Will Favre finally retire?
No shame in hanging up the cleats after a winning season.
Just ride that cheese wagon off into the sunset and go home and
enjoy the family.

You heard it hear first...Farve will return.  This is a young team and they should have another banner year.  Farve will be 39 soon and who knows how long that body will hold out.  That was quite a performance he had this year.

Yeah, too bad the Brett Favre of old had to rear it's ugly head in the championship game.

not gonna lie, it was noticeably quieter at work today. People still letting the loss sink in.
