'72 With 47K?
« on: January 20, 2008, 01:58:50 PM »
'72 Bike with 47k that has been rebuilt.

Stay away from? Or is it okay?

Not sure if it runs good- there's no carbs on it.

Compression has been check and is very good.

Thoughts???
Cafe Racing is mainly a matter of taste. It is an atavistic mentality, a peculiar mix of low style, high speed, pure dumbness, and overweening commitment to the Cafe Life and all its dangerous pleasures. My `72 750 has 50,000 miles and runs excellent. Never had a top-end rebuild. So good things are possible and for that price Id take it! If the pipes are intact they are alone are worth $300+!

cheers

Wow.  No body parts at all, no gauges and no carbs?  I'd offer $200, maybe $250 at most.
