kenda inner tubes

Okay, I said I would never use Kenda anything on my bike. I bought pirelli MT66 tires. However, i  couldnt find anyone locally who sells anything but kenda inner tubes. Leads me to believe that they cant be that bad. However, I would really like some input from other people. Thanks in advance.

For maximum protection against an inappropriate get-off, always use the best quality rubber you can.

That being said, Kenda inner tubes in your motorcycle tires should be OK.

Tubes just hold air and its difficult to get that wrong but tyres have only a small contact area and if the wrong rubber is used by god its awful!

I used to buy Michelin Airstop tubes and found the extra price justified. I doubt if they are even made any more though. The cheaper ones generally work fine but I've had quite a few failuers at the valvestem - the Michelin tubes had extremely strong reinforced rubber around there and nicely made Schroeder valve inserts in beautiful machined valvestems. The cheap ones had really crappy valve inserts and weak stems.
Last time I bought tubes I tried to get Michelin or Pirelli tubes but couldn't. The IRC ones I ended up with are pretty good and I haven't had any trouble with them. Maybe the truly crappy brands have gone as well as the really good ones - not many tube tires any more I guess.

The Kenda products I"ve run in the past have served pretty well, so dont worry much.  they make good products,  its not cheap knockoff junk from china.

What kind of rubber is God using these days??? I've used the KENDA 'tubes and they're fine...don't know about their tires though.

Ive also used Kenda inner tubes  - 20,000+ miles and no problems....of course nails, sharp road debris still give me punctures  :(

Thanks guys. I was too afraid and I finally found a shop that sold something other than kenda. I picked up the IRC like was stated earlier in this thread. The guy told me that Honda lists them as the replacement part. Ive heard to many people, even off this site, tell me that the problem with the kenda tubes is that they have a history of failing at the valve stem.
