Don't laugh.. the civil engineering students at the college I went to had a project every year where they had to build a concrete canoe.

You could cut it into 3 pcs with a concrete saw and carry it out..less mess than cutting a floor to put a bathroon in..

I took my concrete laundry tub out last year. It was very easy to smash and even the pieces are heavy.
Put down a tarp and smash away.
Have fun.

Have you got it out yet Bob? We had one at my parents first house, I think they were popular after WW2 when other materials were in short supply?

That house was made from "conite" because bricks were in short supply, basically, you nailed chicken wire to the wooden frame, and trowled concrete into the wire. Must be good stuff, I drove past the old house this afternoon, and it's still standing!

No, not out yet. I'm going with the "sledge it" plan. Still trying to dope out re-routing some plumbing and rearrangement of the washer/dryer. So I guess you could say it's still in the planning stage. You never want to cut short the planning. I think you're right about when they were popular. The house was completed just before the outbreak of WWII.
