I actually know the US distributor for IKON suspension in the US. His name is Dave Gardner, and he's the best mechanic I know. Period. He owns a BMW shop here in San Francisco called Recommended Service, and, if I remember correctly, he quoted me $315 for a set of IKONs for my 550 four. It was either $315 or $360. Anyway, maybe you can call him up and talk about it. Just google "recommended service san francisco," and the number will come up.

Maybe for the 7610's, but the 7614's are more.

For what it's worth I considered the Ikons and got the exact same $600+ quote from them (I'm in Sydney too), so I started looking at alternatives. That's when I learnt that Hagon bought their plant and designs from Girling who went into receivership in the UK in the mid 80's. If you remember the 70's, the first thing you did was rip off the stock shocks and fit a set of Gas Girlings (well at least in my part of the world you did, so I decided that the simple Hagon's might be in keeping with the period of my newly acquired F1 and decided to get a quote.

I finally bought a set with Chrome springs from Darrell at Moose Head racing here in Aus for $300 AUD. You'll find them here http://www.hagonoz.com.au/index.htm

The CB750 shocks look like those on the left and you can add shrouds for another fifty. The Hagon stickers come off really easy:).
As someone else here said in another Ikon thread, putting a set of Ikons on the stock CB750 frame is a bit like putting a fur coat on a 10 dollar hooker. I don't totally agree and they look mean, but I wonder if the Ikons would be twice as good as the Hagons for twice the price? Maybe when I find the limit I'll upgrade to Ikons, until then the $350 I saved paid for a Boyer Bransden Micro Digital, 4 Keyster F1 carb kits, and 4 x 42mm pods plus change.  ;D

My 7614s for my CB750F were dropped off yesterday by the big brown truck. Couldnt wait to bolt them on my (currently) non-running bike. :D

They are exactly like those pictured by ralt12. Mine cost me $389.99

wannabridin - It's probably been covered here before, but if you want to take the time to drop some emails or make some phone calls .. there are other companies making shocks to fit our bikes. It all depends on the style and performance you want.

you can get Hagons thru Dave Quinn - http://www.davequinnmotorcycles.com/
Works Shocks - http://www.worksperformance.com/html/home.html
Progressive shocks - http://www.progressivesuspension.com/index.html

Does anyone think it's odd that "K4" is missing from the Hagon link above?

In the UK, we missed out on the K3, K4 and K5 - went straight from K2 - K6.

Doesn't explain why the K3 is in there though  ???

Typo?
