no offense to anyone, isnt motorcycle classics a domestic magazine?

Um, yeah.
I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, or anything, but I'm pretty sure the copy of Motorcycle Classics on my nightstand is a domestic magazine covering the 1960's-1990's, non Harley-Davidson (mostly) aspect of motorcycling.

Being a former journalist myself, I wish you all the luck in the world and will probably pick up a copy when/if I see it. But I wonder how much market there is out there considering all of the competition.

Of course, you could always get more focused: JUST Kawai tripples; or JUST SOHC4's; or JUST early Jap iron; JUST cafe's; whatever....
Fewer subscriptions, to be sure, but you are already going for a pretty specialized niche market.

(Maybe this is why I never have any friends)  ::)

My bad, I guess all I ever see on news stands here in Canada are the UK mags.... ::)

Looking forward to the new mag Mitch  ;)

Thanks for asking about this Mitch..

Personally..I'd like to see something in your new mag..about the evolution of 4 cylinder bikes..which Honda 4's had a significant part in.

A lot of us have heard about the Indian, Henderson and Excelsior 4's.
Then the Ariel Square 4's (which a lot of current riders haven't heard too much of).  Then of course the "Nanahans" or transverse in-line 4's of Honda..and so on.

Again personally..I think you could do several issues just through the  SOHC 4's..which I'd venture most of us here would be most interested in.

From there..the entire evolution of multi-cylinder bikes to the present (excepting the V-Twins which seem to be already covered ad naseum) could be explained in relation to what Soichiro Honda contributed.

Just some thoughts for your consideration.

Thanks again,

Mitch,

We've spoken on several occasions at AHRMA races, most recently when you were racing the MOMBA bike at Barber.  I'm the big guy that races a 1970 CB 750 in Production Heavyweight.

No doubt we'll be seeing lots of AHRMA coverage?  That would be a big help for the organization.

There's some talk of the magazine here:
