Get your guy to start at the back of the exhaust and work the megas forward to the pipes, this will give you your header length.
I will try to get some pics to give you a starting point.
Have you decided where you are going to hang them from ?
I won't be on line again till next Tuesday.

Good luck  Sam.

Hello Sam,

No I haven't decided, we'll use your ideas and pics as a starting point though. Noel has had quite a bit of experience fitting pipes.

Did you end up joining [welding] the headers to the meggas or did you use the dinky clips and springs supplied by Swarbrick.
It seems to me that welding them into one peice would make a more solid pipe.

I see you too are a night worker. I've been doing shift work for 30 years and can't wait for the day I give it up. Meantime - bills to pay, kids to support [uni] and toys to work on   :-\

Thanks. I'm in the middle of 7 working days, self employed contractor for the NZ Weather Service, I do their balloon flights here in the deep south - 3 a day. First 0430-0600hrs then 1000-noon then back 2200-2400hrs. Then start again 0430 the following morning  :'(

Not many hours but very broken, at present I do roughly 6 on 4 off although the roster is very fragmented as the guy who helps me has other irregular commitments.
