"on the 8th day God created Hondas so that ni***rs stay off Harleys"

this is sooo wrong on so many levels,  i was so offended i could hardly drive (i was stuck behind this a#$%* for a couple miles) >:(

i just still cant believe that someone would produce and market that kind of crap let alone buy it.

I wouldn't go blaming all Americans on one #$%*.

It's guys like that who give the rest of the Harley riders a bad name.

harley's and /or hondas don't have much to do with a bumper sticker like that it is simple respect for another person of what-ever race

I guess y'all didn't realize I was kidding with some of you.  Just kidding.

Answer to your question, yes.  It goes both ways though, I get racist comments from black people alot.  And other races too.  It's a fear thing.  People are afraid of things that are different from what they know.

People are a messed up bunch.  If we all had the same color skin, we'd find something else like eye color, curly or straight hair.

I just figure people like that will either one day need the help of the people they fear and either they'll get it and realize there's nothing to be afraid of, or they'll get pissed about the sticker and beat the hell out of him further perpetuating the hate.

That's life.

In answer to the question  YES.  I was driving home from work through an area I did'nt know that well when i came across a bar with a pool sign outside.  Now I quite like a game of pool and was gagging for a beer.
I parked the truck and walked in. :o :o :o :o :o It was like something I had'nt experienced before....Black looks (not a pun) from everyone in the bar. As soon as I opened my mouth to order a beer the mood completley changed, I played pool won a fare few dollars and made some new friends. Had I been American I might have ended up dead.
Because of my English acsent I was treated with respect, the way I treat all people irispective of their colour or nationality.
The blacks in Ms are treated like dirt and I came close to hitting a few white guys quite a few times while I was there for the dissrespect they have for their black work mates.

Rant over,

Sam. :)

People are afraid of things that are different from what they know.

That's just it; people fear things they don't understand and ignorance is bliss so they don't try to.

Yes, americans can be that racist, along with many other nationality's. But "True Americans" are not like that. There is no excuse for that kind of crap, and it proves nothing. I don't even like to see post like this because it gives them publicity they don't deserve.  >:( >:( >:( It has nothing to do with motorcycles it's just stupidty.

I think the problems is not there is somebody who produce the stickers let alone buy them. The problem is there is people willing to show them.

I'm going to throw away a few of my motorcycle books because they are wrong. They say it was some fellas named Harley and Davidson who created Harley, not God... well, you can argue that God created Harley and Davidson before so it can be intended that HD is God's creation, but for the same reasoning, if you go back enough in time, black people was created by God too, so there should be no reason to set them aside. You could also argue that blacks are not God's creation, but then it means that either they appeared spontaneously -assuming a failure in God's masterplan and therefore proving he is not perfect-, or they were created by other gods, that would sent to trash all the monotheist religions.

Hey spikey, where was it that you saw that driver?  In most parts, if theres a bumper sticker as blatant as that, you can guarantee four flats and a busted window.

It would be great to see Harley's lawyers go after the people that produced that bumper sticker as energetically as they do people who want to use the word "hog."

I thought exactly the same. In fact, I don't have any sign in my car that shows support to any soccer team, political party, musical taste or anything. There is plenty of empty headed out there that just need an excuse to scratch your car's paint or stab the tires. I don't think it is wise to use your car to make statements -apart from what owning this or that car is an statement in itself-

Please don't bring lawyers into this. That's worse than the bumper sticker.  :o :o

It's been my experience that people with the weakest position on any given subject will say the most outlandish and stoopid things.  This bumper sticker is a good example.  The person(or in this case the maker of the sticker) can't tell you WHY a Harley is better, then brings a racist comment to the table.

I have also observed that all racists are in need of the very same IQ points that they say the minorities don't have.  Sort of like why a guy with a small pencil drives a Corvette.  Trying to make up for something.
Go metric, every inch of the way!

Why the hell would you blame "Americans" for being racist just because one idiot has a stupid bumper sticker?

Don't us Americans get enough #$%* from the rest of the world, now you gotta go and calls us racists, like we're the worst of the bunch?

Stupidity knows no national boundaries.  In my travels around the globe, I've seen both racism and stupidity in MANY foreign lands, including Brasil, Mexico, Canada, England, etc.  Frankly, the United States is probably the best of the bunch.

If you think racism is isolated to white rednecks, then you should try living in a major city and see how "minorities" can be!  Or, just watch the news and listen to Al Sharpton or Louis Farrakhan (another fellow Bronx boy, I'm ashamed to say).

Not wanting to start a fight with you Ed, but to the outside world, the US is considered the world capital of rascism.

The KKK, White Supremacists, American Nazi's, the murder of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X, the way the American Government treated Muhamed Ali, Mississippi Burning, Rodney King, and recently the way the poor black victims of Hurricane Katrina were ignored, have all contributed to America holding this unenviable title.

Don't get me wrong, rascism is alive and well world wide, (there was talk about the KKK starting a "Klaven" here in Oz a few years ago) but currently, America wears the #1 tag. Nothing to do with Harley or Honda, just human nature. I think it'll still be awhile before the rest of the world thinks otherwise.

Here in Oz the two most popular car manufacturers are Ford and (GM) Holden. I've seen the same bumper sticker on a young blokes Holden, saying "God made Fords to keep dickheads out of Holdens". At the time, I just thought that sadly, God had failed again.......... Cheers, Terry.  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
