How much of a difference does a 3mm overbore kit translate into to CCs? The bike it is for is a CB500.

I didn't do particularly well in high school math.  ;D

The volume of a cylinder equals the area of the base*height = ¶r2h. Pi is approximately equal to 3.14159. Since I don't know the diameter of a stock 500 cylinder I can't do the calculation for you.

555 ish
the formula is [(3.142*dia squared/4)*stroke]*4

Where * is multiply and / is divide( i know those keys ought to be here somewhere but I cant find em)

AND MEASUREMENTS IN CM (mm divide by 10)

Formula= bore x bore x stroke x 0.0007854 = Cyl cc's

Example:
Stock CB500 = 56 x 56 x 50.6 x 0.0007854 = 124.63 cc's  x 4 = 498cc
3mm over = 59 x 59 x 50.6 x 0.0007854 = 138.34 cc's x 4 = 553cc

Hope I got that correct.
