Hey new guy here in charleroi south of pittsburgh.  i have a cb 750 1970 that is in an Amen rigid frame with 10 over forks.  i am in the process of a rebuild top to bottom.  motor had ap 63 mm pistons, yosh cam, has a lightened alt.  pistons are shot, cam is barely usable, got a cylinder from a 73 and a head from a 75 to rebuild with, thinking about oversize stock pistons with a stock cam.  keep changin my mind.

Welcome from Jefferson Hills (just a few miles north of you).  Sounds like you've got a lot of work ahead of you.
Let's see some pics.

here she is basically finished before teardown, kinda like a running mock up for the last 2 years.  had to clean plugs before everyride.  other than that she ran good, minus the fact when i tore into the motor, the first piston had a broke ring, the 2nd had a cracked ring, the 3rd was missing the oil ring, and the 4th was so caked with soot.  the trans looks good, newer clutch, the crank looks decent along with the rods.  i just finished cleaning the bottom all up, took like 10 cans of brake cleen, and like many many hours of scrubbing with a tooth brush and the cleen.  nothing like getting real close to your parts and taking your time getting to know them.  i have 2 young kids and cant take any chances.  dropped the oil pan and pump, man ill have to post a pic of what was in the pan and screen.  screen was basically completely clogged.  i know if anyone had the whole top off their motor, it is well worth your time to split dem cases.  there was alot of stuff that i could not see with them cases together.  MONEY is the issue now.  yeah i like them AMEN frames, for my next project id like to get a savior but that is wayyy down the road.  this bike has some cool molding on the tank and the rear fender.  hard to notice but you have to look close.  the rear fender is frenched in i guess it is called.  ill put up some more pics of the teardown.

here she is when i got her back from the cycle shop in the original condition i had got her but i recovered the seat and had the forwards put on

it is all about comfort for me, i am 6'2"  350 lbs. the way the bike is set up is perfect for me to take some loong rides, i just need the reliability hence the motor rebuild.  i was thinking paint, but then i am just thinking of touching up the original paint actually, i like it.  plus this aint no show bike, and i dont want one.  i looked for awhile before i bought a bike and this one just jumped out at me.  i was thinking of touching it up with like some psycadelic shapes or something where the paint is worn most.  thanks for the warm welcomes.
