So, McGrath wasn't kidding when he told everyone yesterday that he was injured.

The Aussies are definitely less of a team without him.

Hey Steve I was busy shooting guns last night (Army thing) so I haven't caught up yet, what's wrong with Glen McGrath? Has young Tate bowled yet? He looks the business, they're calling him the new "Thommo" already! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Yea Terry, Tait looked pretty good - once he'd squandered the first 30 overs!  A guy for the future no doubt.

What you guys need though is a man for the present.  I don't think even Warnie can get you out of this one!

England 477
Oz 99-5

Weather - set fair until at least Monday.

It's not only the Aussies that get the bad decisions.  It all evens out in the end.

It was funny though wasn't it ...

Egil,

It finished today, England won and now have a 2 to 1 advantage in the 5 match sieries.
I think England have to win one of the next two matches to win overall.

G'Day Sam, it was a brilliant game, I woke up at around 3am here and watched the last hour of play, geez the poms were playing like England of old! Anyway, it's more exciting for me than cricket has been in many years, and as Chromey has mentioned, Australia is starting to finally get their collective eye in, so the fifth (and final) test will be the great decider! As Egil says "what evere, hope  best team  win?" Cheers, Terry. ;D

I saw the 250's and 125's, (in that order) but missed the 500's, they must have been on first, yeah? Young Casey Stoner did well coming third in the 250's though, after watching the cricket, and my AFL team (Richmond) getting done, it was nice to see an Aussie smiling, ha ha! Cheers, Terry.

Nice one Tel.

The BBC only show the big ones, but some of the antics they get up you would think they was on 125s.

As a citizen of the First Colony to break the bonds of tyranny, I must say I have always laughed at the back and forth banter between Aussies, Kiwis, and Limeys. I have visited all of your countries and each has it's good points. You go to NZ for the scenery. You go to Aus for a fun night out and pretty woman. You go to GB to see the Queen, but damned if you can find a edible meal. Now there are parts of the U.S. each of you would feel most comfortable in. Aussies need to go to Texas. Texans and Aussies are one and the same breed. Kiwis should go to New Hampshire, very pretty, but nothing to do. Brits need to come to NY where speaking without moving your jaw is very admired. In Texas talking that "Fancy Talk" would get you a "whuppin".
We Yanks are lazy, we turned Cricket into Baseball so we could get it over quickly. We turned Rugby into Football for some reason or other. The kids that are a bit gentle do play Soccer.
We Yanks are also very noisy, our Harleys set off car alarms, we love our large block V8 engines which suck up  gas and are also noisy.
We Yanks always take something and turn it into something else to fit our whims. The scary part is that we would turn some places into cinders if they push us too far. Sad but true.
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Bobby,

Very sad but very true.

I lived in Mississippi for a while some years back and found it very nice and the same with its folk.

The only problem was the heat in summer, just to much for me.

You said there is a place in America for all of us but I am not to sure.

South, to hot and look at today, just a tad on the windy side, hope the folk down on the coast are OK.

West, to hot and to many earthquakes.

North, to cold, to much snow.

East, can be a bit damp.

Mid, not to bad apart for the tornadoes.

Thinks me stay in UK.

Nice post though Bobby.

Regards Sam.

Thanks Bobby, I think Texas will do me fine, I want to stay in a town where everyone wears cowboy hats and boots, and pearl handled six-guns are mandatory! I like hot weather and loud noises, and I'm more than happy to barbecue anyone who annoys me, geez, maybe I am a Texan! Cheers, Terry. ;D
