You're gonna post a reply for each run we score Steve? Geebus H. Crikey mate, you're gonna get RSI! Last test we left you with a deficit of 400, or thereabouts? Best if you just do one for each of Englands runs, that way you can't possibly hurt yourself, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Glenn McGrath has been ruled out of the second Test at Edgbaston after being injured in the pre-match warm-up on Thursday.

The Australia fast bowler injured his right ankle playing a rugby-style game and Mike Kasprowicz has been called up as his replacement."

Well there's the first bit of good news for today.
What were they doing letting their star bowler play a "rugby-style game" in the warm up???

I fear that it won't be enough. We should have converted those 60s and 70s into 100s.

Well I feel a little happier now. It's good to see a decent game - whoever ends up winning.

Footy starts tomorrow (yippee!!)

He's most probably put his head in the oven whilst watching the Aussies fall apart.
Only trouble is-in the part of Oz that Terry lives, they don't know the difference between a gas oven & an electric one.

................. So after the first test I text-messaged Warney: "Mate, you blokes have gotta drop a test, the Poms are piss weak and the games are as boring as a wet week in Britain!" He sent me one back asking me what I was wearing? Geezus those Pommy sheila's must be fugly!

But I digress. Who'd have thought he'd listen to me? Ah well, at least England's resurgence is good for the game, but I suspect they'll pack it in shortly, from my experience Englands cricketers are as reliable as Lucas electrics! If I'm wrong, no harm done, my missus has trained me to believe that I'm generally always wrong anyway, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Ah, Joe Lucas, the Prince of darkness, knew him well.
By the way, we let them win about five minutes ago.

I'm on holiday down on the Devon coast where even my mobile phone doesn't work!

However, the TV works and so does the hotel manager's PC!

So I've blagged some time to come on here and say...

"God that was close. What the hell were England playing at?  At 135-7 I though the extra half hour would be enough."

Just goes to show that the Aussies NEVER give up!

Roll on Thursday!

Steve in sunny Devon

PS There's no such thing as a meaningless cricket thread. This Ashes stuff is serious #$%* between us and the Aussies...
