That's a neat jigger Jimmy, and I love those discs on that race bike, there's more holes than metal, ha ha! Keep up the good work, and I'll take one of those seats if you make another one! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thats a BIG-Jim Big-Butt Seat if you know what I mean
Just got some that foam for plants that holds water
and glued 4 sheets together
then shaped it with a knife and then a small sander and got it to where it looked good
then molded a seat pan in with some glass and then glassed the hole seat.
after it dried we would sand it and then add more glass until we thought it was strong enough.
Then just cut out the foam that we used to give us the general shape.
easy huh
as far as the disks the ones that you see on the bike are not the ones that are on there know
I have sense changed to FZR600 rotors with the brembo calipers so there is just as many holes but larger disks
and better stopping power
I will keep you posted with pictures as we go in to paint and the finished deal
also the I cant forget the Honda too
bigger disks and 6 pot calipers (OH BOY)

Thanks Jimmy, I must have a go at fiber glassing again soon, I haven't done any since I made some sidecovers for my first K1 in 1982, and replacing the boot floor in a car a few years ago. I might even try some carbon fiber! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Go for it with the fibreglass terry, just remember make sure you have anything you dont want glassed covered up and that anything you want the glass to attach to is clean, fibreglass is simple enough if you know the basic steps, and theres a few tricks that make moulding things quicl easy and cheap, as for the carbon fibre apart from being a hell of a lot more expensive its also a hell of a lot more complicated, you need vacuum setups and decent ovens if i got the process right....
On these bikes carbon fibre is only good for the bling factor, unless your racing and want to save ounces.........
Cheers mate
