Bogging problem on cb650
« on: July 28, 2005, 12:54:42 PM »
Today, I changed the oil and filter, it went well and I had no leakage or any problems. During my ride today the 650 was running really smootly until about 45 minutes into it it started bogging down hard in the low rpms. It even cut out on me twice trying to get it home. It would hardly rev when I had the throttle down in first, but after a second or two of holding down the it down it would rev start to rev hard. If I let off the gas it would bog and die. I find this really odd because the bike was running fine for the first 45 minutes and then this just started happening out of nowhere. It definitly was not overheated either. Any ideas?

Sounds like out of gas to me too. You got a fuel filter on there?
