Had a great morning breakfast and short ride with three of the Tampa bay riders today. I would like to brag about the great weather...it was warm!...but I managed to get a little wet on the ride back to Orlando. 

So here are a couple of pics of the bikes and riders at Ft. Desoto park near the entrance to Tampa Bay. Left to right siter81, Peterbylt, and Techy5025. Another rider..Dennis..came on a silverwing. Thanks for the great get together guys!

A good ride was had by all.
Jim's 69 sandcast was a sight to behold.
Ed's 75 750 looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
We were talking about getting together at one of the Plant City bike nights.
They have those on the first saturday night of every month and it would be half way between Tampa and Orlando.

Classic Owner's Motorcycle Association (C.O.M.A.)
Has rescheduled the Picnic at Ft Desoto beach in ST Petersburg Florida. This time The Date will be sunday Feb 10th.
They have the date and time out on there site and the pavillion has been reserved. I have spoken with Pete Maggiacomo and he says it will really happen this time.
Us SOHC4 riders had a great time meeting up a couple of weeks ago for breakfast and I look forward to seeing a few more of us show. I will definitly be there.
I am putting off tearing down the 550 for its rebuild for this.

Another group that I ride with Classic Owner's Motorcycle Association (C.O.M.A.)
Is having a Picnic at Ft Desoto beach in ST Petersburg Florida. The Date will be sunday january 13th.

They have all kinds of vintage Iron: Norton's, Trumph's, BMW's, Henderson's and of course Honda's and almost no Harley's.
In order to belong your bike should be at least 30 years old.
Anyone is welcome at the picnic and as long as we know ahead of time so we can get a meal for you. ($5.00)
I would like to see a good showing of SOHC4's, this is a realy cool event if yoiu are into older Classic motorcycles.
This would be a good excuse for us florida riders to get together and Compare bikes and stories.

I have the date circled on my calendar. Pete has posted an RSVP request and I am guessing to his e-mail address? As some of us sohc'ers are not in the club, do we just show up with 8 bucks....or?

Glad we were able to get together for the breakfast. I cut the return to Orlando a little close and got a bit damp.     I'm Hoping the weather will be better on the 10th.

Do you have any more info on the Plant City bike night....sounds like fun also.

Lots of old Iron mostly British. I would like to see lots more old Honda Iron.
I was talking to one guy on Wednesday who will be there on his 1955 BSA.
Let me know ahead of time if you are coming so we can make sure that there is meal for you.
