« on: August 03, 2005, 07:28:48 AM »
I have a 1972 CB500 four. What oil filters will fit that? Napa told me that they have one listed for a 1978 CB xxxx  ,said it was about 3" wide by 2.25" deep[cartridge type] .I am wondering if this will fit mine.If anyone out there knows the Napa part# that will fit mine [I got one that fit a few years ago]could you let me know?

The filter for the CB500 is the same one used in the CB400F,CB550,CB650,CB750 and Goldwings of the `70`s.
Honda dealers around here charge $8 and change and that includes both O-ring seals.
