I just stumbled upon this build... SLICK CB....excellent choice of colors!!  And hats off for starting Analog Motorcycles!!!  I dream of doing something like that someday...like a hobby-job... COOL! good luck!! and great stuff man!!

So when you painted your engine... What did you mask off? I can see a couple of things in the pics, but I can't tell if you masked the Chain sprocket. Also, what kind of prep did you do? I'm getting ready to paint mine so I'm asking around the forum.

My bike question is what rear sets are you using! I have been looking for a
nice set of rear sets for my 78 with no luck :(

I was thinking of taking my comstars apart but decided against that can of worms, how have they been holding up? By the way I love the bike! Great to see some different ideas with the oil tank, speedo, and on and on! I'm a big fan of the choke cable placement, I am going to be going back to the stock carbs from my '77 F and was trying to think of a good place for it and that looks very nice.
