My folks are in LA at the moment, getting ready to return to Oz after an extended Christmas vacation with my sister and her family after Dad got real sick and spent three weeks in hospital.

Anyway, they were telling me yesterday how the weather is improving there, but compared to an Aussie winter, (particularly at night) still bitterly cold! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

We have had the most glorious early Feb in the South UK. Sunday it hit 17 degrees. I went on a Triumph ride-out to the coast. Fabulous weather, loads of bikes out on the roads - still gets dark by 5:30 though...

Average temp for UK in early Feb is about 7 degrees.

Are we going to have another "summer of '76"?

Anyone else in the UK remember it?..........................REMEMBER IT!!!  Some of my earliest memories..................................include 2nd hand bath water !!   Little bikes with stablizers where all the rage!!

 ;)

Well, we just got 10 inches on Thursday here in WI.  Now we are under a winter storm warning for Sunday.  6 - 12 inches and high winds.  Looks like I will be on 4 wheels for a while here.  Come on guys, how about a little sympathy here.   ;D

Hey I'm sympathetic John, and just to prove it to ya, instead of bashing in Seans tank today, I'm taking my bike for a ride, in your honor! I did get a bit sunburned yesterday riding my GS1000S in just T shirt and jeans (it was about 90 deg F) so a little reciprocal sympathy seems to be in order? Ha ha, Cheers, Terry. ;D

Ten feet of the white stuff so far this winter here in Montreal.

Why won't the US let me live there permanently? Anywhere south of the Mason Dixon line sounds good

Geez, I didn't think they were that choosey about who lives there, look at George Bush, for instance! ;D
