Sometimes when Im PMSin I like to go out in the garage and just sit on the ol'750. It's been below zero here the last week or so and Im afraid my fat ass may break something. This doesn't make me "odd" does it?   ;)

What I wouldn't do for 50 deg. weather. :(

PMS in WI for sure.  -40 windchill last weekend.  Is -5 right now this evening.  My last ride was in early January on the Wing.  Sure was nice to get out.  I am with the rest of you...can not wait for spring.  The only thing good about winter is the restoration hobby.

I've been riding my bike most days but it is very cold and the salt is making my already rusty machine a bit worse.  Still, nothing that a quick springtime scrub and a liberal application of grease won't sort out.

We're getting a big storm tonight.  For the second time this winter I climed on top of the 9 foot snowbank near the end of my driveway and shoveled the top 3 feet of it off so I now have somewhere to put the snow. :'(

8 inches of Heavy snow this morning which will be followed by an inch of sleet and 4 to 5 hours of freezing rain on top.  They're predicting massive power outages.

This is on track to be the greatest total accumulated snowfall year on record.

You can't make too much popcorn, but you can definately eat too much popcorn.

Four more inches of snow yesterday here in South Eastern South Dakota. And even more predicted tomorrow with a high around 10°! Winter blues have set in and everyone on the road are driving with the signs... So I guess right now it would be a bad time to ride when all the people in cars are driving like they are out for blood...

You know you have to look for something positive! :D

It's definitely been the coldest winter up here in MN in a decade. It was so cold I didnt even go into the garage for 2-3 weeks.

too much in the negative here lately. Too bad I can't get out of the tundra and move to the warmth!

Snow. That's that white stuff that looks a bit like sand, yeah? It's a bit cold here today too guys, I had to wear a windcheater over my T shirt first up this morning, and shoes, too. Man, it looks like it's gonna be another harsh Aussie winter! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey Terry...here is a picture of that white stuff for you.  Been snowing in central WI all day.  At noon I measured 6 inches.  So much for getting the bike out today, or tomorrow, or this weekend.  I think you should feel sad for us snowbounders...

Hey Terry...here is a picture of that white stuff for you.  Been snowing in central WI all day.  At noon I measured 6 inches.  So much for getting the bike out today, or tomorrow, or this weekend.  I think you should feel sad for us snowbounders...

Ha ha, yeah mate, I do feel sorry for you, that cold white #$%*t is ok for Christmas cards and Bing Crosby movies, but other than that, it just gets in the way of riding.

This weekend the cops are having an "un-bike" blitz, targeting unregistered bikes and unlicensed riders, so (because it's not actually registered)  I'm not taking the K0 out, so I fired up both Suzuki GS1000's, my tired old "Wes Cooley replica" and a GS1000G that I'm selling to a mate tomorrow.

The "S" will still do 145+ MPH, (or at least it did this time last year) and handles really well for a 27 year old bike, so I think some "spirited" riding will be in order once I get off the beaten track! Cheers, Terry. ;D

it's definitely hacked up, but painted in kid of an urban camo theme, with lots of cheesy stickers all over it.
