Caliper restoration question
« on: February 11, 2008, 04:36:29 PM »
As you can see by the attached picture, I need to do something with the caliper on my KO.  Just wondering what you restore buffs think would be best.  Remove the clear and polish it, remove the clear and paint it, or what else is an option.  It is only the circular front part that has the paint coming off.  The rest of the caliper looks good which is why I am thinking of only doing something to that circular part.
Thanks

If it was mine, I'd remove the clear, polish it with up to 1200 grit, and then re-clear it.
Looks more original that way.

That should shine up real nice with some rouge and a wheel
