Can't answer your question but can the guys at CyclExchange give you any info?? Did you notch the sleeves to fit these rods?

How's the case/cylinder issue coming?

Have you used these in 900 kits or other high performance kits? What kind of mileage &/or abuse have you seen these take?

Daniel,

Thats the story I've heard too. Skeptical perhaps. My build will be a 900, mucho head work, crank work, the other goodies too and CR31s. Too damn expensive to take a rod out! After you blow one engine you get a little precautious. Do the sleeves have to be notched on the bottom for your rods? Thanks for your input.

How about experiences from you other guys??

He he!  I am resurrecting an old post!  I had to put my motor building on the shelf for a long time, but now I am actively working on it again.  I loosely assembled the motor and there were no clearance issues, and I have not notched my sleeves.  Now I am stuck trying to find bearings for them...
