Nothing fancy :(.  The Honda is "the 750" and the '04 Harley is "the Bike."  That'll maybe have to change when the 750 gets back on the road  ;D

Riding into Moab UT with some friends a tvalve started knocking pretty badly.  At the hotel I went to unscrew it's cover and the threaded neck striped off flush (holy crap!).  Not sure what to do, I pulled of the #1 in order to finish the valve job and it tore off too (j#s*&C$%#@t!)

Next day, bought some RTV to seal the oil in, and some JB weld to glue the covers on.  It occurred to us that if I lost one of those covers on the road, I was going to need a tow truck or a whole lot of spare oil so:

One of my co-riders says in his thick South American accent "In Argentina, we use wire like Americans duct tape"  He goes into the hardware store, buys a roll of bailing wire and wraps about forty feet of it all around the head and those covers, then JB welds it in place.
Finished the ride through Southern Utah and Arizona with only mild oil leaking

Ever after I'm calling the bike "The Argentinian" and using bailing wire for something (currently as a cotter pin on the rear wheel).

I named my bike "Brownie"  It is Gloriuos Maxi Brown and Marshall Gold (I didn't name the colors).  I like riding my Brownie.

Still have not come up with a name for the k5.  I did call it the weed eater last week.

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I call mine Hot Bike, so named because of it's licence plate HOTBYK.

My wife calls it "that thing in the way" as she passes through the garage.

I tell her it's a restoration work in progress. She tells me to sell it.

Then I tell her *&!@#! off.
OK I just made this part up  ;D

My '75 CB550F is the "Deerslayer".  She took out a deer at 50 mph, kept me safe and upright, and rode me home safely.  I sure do love her for it.

Hey HT,
So did this DUI b!tch have insurance? If so, are they covering all your losses: bike, medical, work, etc. ??? ??? If so, are you shopping around looking to replace 'Havoc' or just going get something else instead?

ray

ps: I am going to force them into repairing my 96MagnaCD. I think they are finally coming around to my point of view. Since I promised them that if they didn't make everything right (like it was prior to the accident) I was going to get a real pit dog of an attorney and really go after them(both my and their insurance co's) You can pay me now this small little amount, or you can pay me later this inflated amount. your choice.
