Rim swap... need some help
« on: February 19, 2008, 04:17:29 PM »
The bike is a 78f with comstar rims rim now.

I was able to find (from another board member) a 76 F spoked rim :)

My question is, will this rim bolt right up using the sprocket, brakes, hardware, ect from the comstar that I already have?  Or will I need to use all the goods from the spoked rim.

I check the diagrams/part numbers on bike bandit and the only part that seems to be crossing over is the brake rotor :(

Im sure someone has done this swap before. Im just trying to figure out if im getting myself into a bigger project/expense then id planed.

Thanks in advance!

I believe the swing arms are different lengths. Did you get the axle as well?
