This year in August, as we have done every year since 2001 , my old buddy Howard and I took another unforgetable bike ride. He rode his 2002 VTX1800R and I was on my 2003 Fat Boy. We rode a leisurely 4300 miles over 17 days. We left Denver 8/14 and returned 8/30. Some days we rode hard, some days not much and some days we just drank beer on the beach. But every day was great whether is was 115 degrees in the desert or very cool 40 to 50 degrees and foggy on the Pacific Coast Highway. If you would like to see some of the sites we were able to enjoy I'll post a link to Howard's website. He has also posted pictures from our 4000 mile 2006 ride into the Canadian Rockies and back through Sturgis Bike Week. The secret password to get into the "Sturgis Afer Dark" area is Sturgis in case you're curious about that. He password protected it due to his commercial website access, Wilderness Photography, also being at this link. It's really not bad the Wilderness Photography commercial site requires some resemblence of sensitivity to his varied clientele. You should check out this site also. He has some really amazing pictures available. Hope you enjoy our travels and all of your's too.
This will get you directly to our ride. His other stuff is elsewhere on his site if you're interested.
