I find if you right click the image and select "View image" (I'm using Firefox as my browser) it is opened in a new window where it can then be left clicked to return it to it's original size. Quite readable then.

Glenn has some of these articles in hi-res on the main site (not the forums)

If you can get him the hi-res images, I'm sure that he'll put them on the site.

I was the one who posted about it a few months back.  I'd love to see as much as you can scan!  Hell, If you end up scanning the whole book, I can even throw it together as a pdf for you.

You need to set your scanner to either 300 or 600 dpi. You'll get a big file for each page.

i tried image shack and kept getting some kind of error when trying to upload .so it's good old photobucket again.

i think the problem is the size of the image, or your using the wrong link
photobucket will resize an image if it is over a particular size in bytes, and the right link to use is the image code, or click on the pick at p-buck then click on the pick that comes up again to get the full size, right click that then hit properties, you`ll see a web address, paste that into your message highlight it and then hit the image button at the top of the reply window.
i went to the image and zoomed in, it is a decent res image
cheers

OK
just been talking this over with SWMBO, forget 600 DPI, thats no good for the net, only for printing, the internet only produces an image of 72 DPI.......
so stick with 300 DPI for printing a picture, your problem i reckon is the image is too big in bytes.
maybe scan all pages as high a res as you can, put them in a folder and put then on a file host somewhere and place the link in here

no worries mate...
scan the pages at 600 DPI, put all the images in a folder with a suitable name and then go to h**p.rapidshare.com, you will be able to upload the file there and you will get a link for downloading it, post that in here and anyone that wants can download it
cheers

Try to push the spine down so the edge of the page is readable if you can.  I hate to be picky since you're being so kind as to do this, but if you're going to do it at all, you might as well do it right.  Right?  Thanks for scanning it for us Neil.

Hey nothing wrong with picky. 8)
at 300 dpi it takes about 30 seconds to scan, but at 600 dpi it took over a min.the previous ones were just a test.once i have it figured out I'll do the necessary pushing of the spine :o
it's my pleasure to post this as there is some really cool and interesting (for lack of a better word) "stuff."

The files that you posted first were fine.  Like someone else said, right click and view the image then zoom to full size, looks perfect.  When you have all of the files together, send me a PM and we'll work out a way to get them to me to convert to pdf.
