CB550 CAMs - Numbers
« on: February 14, 2008, 09:05:20 PM »
Are there any differences between a R10 & R12 CAM on a CB550?  I have two CAMs, one with R10 and another with R12 stamped into it.  I know my parts bike was a 75' CB550 and my project bike a 74' is that the only difference the number refers to?  Thanks.

No difference, its a casting number
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
