Carb inlet tee o-rings

I need help to get some O-rings for the carb fuel inlet tee.

Part number 16173-044-004

Supposedly unobtainable, but Speed Supplies in Oklahoma has them listed for 28 cents each

go here (this may appear on 2 lines, but it all gets typed in as one)

http://www.speedsupplies.com/partslisting.asp?position=487&increment=500&category=HN

They have a minimum order of $20.00

I could do this (72 O-rings) but they then want $47 to ship to Canada!!!

Anybody out there willing to get some O-rings for the guys here on the forum?

I need 8

thanks

David

My sister lives pretty close to their location.  I could see if she could pick them up and mail them to you.

This is a standard O-ring, as metric O-rings go. There are about 500 inch size "standard' O-rings that are used in 99.9% of inch-size machinery... but a multitude of metric sizes - thousands and thousands of sizes. The one you want is a P-8 size JIS standard O-ring (7.8 x 1.9mm), they should be available from most industrial suppliers. There are still a lot of JIS sizes but this one isn't a real oddball, at least. You just need gas-proof, viton is probably best. You'll probably run up against a minimum sale, but that should be less that their minimum and shipping. Where are you in Canada? I know a good O-ring shop in Toronto.

Forget the bike shops. try auto parts stores, hardware stores and plumbing supply stores.
Neoprene o-rings are all basically the same. bring a tee with you and check the fit.
You should get out of there for a couple bucks max.
