Topic: Cafe/Racer Artwork needed 4 Tattoo - Anyone have Anything good ?

yO ,

I am gonna go get ink'ed up in the next few days, and I wanted to see if anyone had any
cool/wicked/flash looking Cafe related artwork/pics that might turn into a cool tattoo ?
I am getting the sketch below 4 sure (prob. next weekend) on the inside of my left arm...

I want to find something motorcycle/cafe/racer related to go on the outside of my arm, to kinda blend everything together.
Their is NOTHING worse than sporadic tattoo's of different styles/colors/sizes on someone (my opinion).
So I want everything to flow as much as possible, to make a solid and tight 1/2 sleeve.

Just post/send me whatever you might have, as all help (as always) is greatly appreciated...

There are tons of amazing tattooers in your area.  Any one of them would love to draw up a custom piece for you, most of the time art in different forms has to be adjusted to be tattooable anyway. If you dont trust someone as an artist, why would you trust them with your half sleeve?

I agree with ya 150%. Their are lots of great tattoo shos in and around Chicago.
I have been going to the same guy since i got my first one, and he is an amazing artist.
Not that i dont trust him to draw me something, but i want to see what's out their , and then have him make it all work together.

not sure if this might strike your fancy.  i downloaded this picture about 3-4 years ago from some company that sells motorcycle t-shirts (can't remember the address).

unless it is going to be a huge tattoo, or the tattooist is exceptional, that norton has way too many fine lines to be reproducable as a tattoo.

If you go to you local tatoo-shop and bring that hotrod picture and a picture of your favorite bike, he'll probably have no problem drawing you something like it. I have a friend who is a tatoo-ist (is that a word??) and he's very good at drawing and painting. I think most of them are like that, they are the kids that grew up drawing.

I am going this friday night to get the outline of the car done (gonna feel oh so good onthe inside of my arm), then I have some time to figure out what i want on the outside of the arm.

Teal, why not take a pic of your scoot inand have him use that a basis for his free hand...

It's a great looking bike and very indicative of the cafe movement so no reason he couldn't use it as a jumping off point.

Most artists would rather ink their own work anyways or will atleast do some subtle changes to whatever you bring in
