Fork lower diameter and spacing ?? CB550
« on: August 04, 2005, 12:48:55 PM »
Does anyone know what the internal spacing is between the lower fork tubes in mm and what is the diameter of the lower tubes where the dust seal is?

Is someone making a fork brace? I make the distance between forks at 133mm and the diameter of the of the outside of the lowers where the dust seal sits to be 58mm. I think. I happen to have a 76 550F with the front wheel off of it, right this minute.

I found a place online but they only had a 170mm between and 60 diameter Daytona brace.  guess that wont work.   Any machine shop guys out there who want to build a brace :)
