Koni question again: Hey! they were free!
« on: August 04, 2005, 02:19:02 PM »
Stole a set of Koni's today to use on the ol' cafe project.

I however don't know Jack about them.

Thier a set of 76P-1296's.

Anyone know where to get info/parts? Ikon?

What the hell does that part number go on? Thier 13.5 inches eye to clevis.

Just google Ikon mate and have a look at their site, they'll tell you what application they are, the 76p's are the old non-adjustable damping models, and I think the 1296's are for the CB750/900F. Will work fine on a sohc 750 but will kick the ass up a tad, and your centrestand will need a block under it if you want to turn your back wheel. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hi, Terry.

Looked at the Ikon site already. Couldn't find any info on the old products.

At least they answered you. I had to have Terry call them and order some springs I needed.

Yeah, they're not real helpful, let me know if you need me to call them, in fact, send me your shocks and I'll rebuild them for you while I've still got the special tool to pull the plugs out! Cheers, Terry. ;D
