That was fun to watch! For several years I rented Renault Lagunas while in europe. They were good handling cars with decent get up and go, won the european sedan class a few times I think. Anyway, one way you can get the rear end out on front wheel drive cars is with the hand brake as you boot the car and cut the wheel, instant oversteer, dump the hand brake, cut the wheel the other way and you're power sliding, keep the gas pedal down and use heel and toe to control the slide with the brake pedal lightly. I've been working on this manoever over the years on rural dirt and gravel roads and had alot of fun, although now I usually rent a work truck while there, I hope no one from Avis is monitoring this thread!
