So, APTech and I did our good deed today...We loaned Spikey a bike and drug him out on a ride! Thats APTech on the left, Spikey in the middle, and me on the right...Oh, and '07 Speed Triple, '75 CB550F, and '08 Versys, in case you're wondering....

well I've been up to my ears in work to do. as we all know all too well moving sucks, and for me this move has really got me down. because i have to downsize dramatically, going from a huge work space to this

the box on the floor is to show were my roommates car will stop.
that's everything I'm keeping...... except the bike of coarse, I'll get that as soon as it stops raining
the stereo system is on the other side of the garage but aside from that what you see is it, i had to throw away so much, i cut up me workbench to make that hutch, we still have to rewire the power and add more outlets (the wires hanging from the ceiling are my floracent lights)

once the power is done then i can turn the welder on with out poppin' the breaker (not welding just turning it on

Man I totally understand and feel for you. I just went through this. I sold my house in MN with a full basement and a huge three car garage. I lived with my parents while that house was on the market. Now I have a house with a crawl space and a one car garage. I'm so friggin cramped in my house I'm going crazy. We're gonna have a huge garage sale one of these weekends coming up. Just need a nice one to get outside and get everything organized. What a PITA.

so the bikes been here for a week , and my roommate's gto that has to be parked in the garage, has sat in the driveway. i asked him today if i should make some room so he can pull it in (it was a mess from unpacking all my crap and is finally all put away)

he says ,dont bother.....i resond with: *raising one eyebrow* why is that.

it seems he is fond of having a workshop in his garage and is well aware that parking a car in it pretty much kills it .....so

... best news if heard in 2 months

anyway , so i got a little work done tonight

yeah look two wheels

finally got the wheel trued and tire mounted
got the bar controls painted day before yesterday ,so i got the bars on and all wired up.

still got to get some little stuff , rear signals,drivechain, rebuild the stator harness(not looking forward to that) ,rear brake light switch, and i'm sure there is more that i'll think of later

and yes matt that made my week, i had some friends all lined up to help me move that day because it was so nice out, and the second the offer to ride instead was given i jumped on it

it was 65 that day, 70s the day before and its been 30s and 40s ever since (thats what i call fate)

so i'm fairly certain i got this right, but wiring is not my cup a tea so correct me if i'm wrong

rebuilding the harness for my dyna

unit on the left is 1-4: white=blue
unit on the right is 2-3: black=yellow
red wires combine and splice the coil right?

and also rebuilding the stator harness i was wondering if it matters witch of the yellow wires goes in witch slot of the harness (can i connect any of the yellow wires to any other yellow wire slot-there are 3 and they are all the same)

Can't help with the Dyna. But, the yellow stator wires are indifferent to connection point.

Thats correct - I just put one in my 750 on monday

Instead of splicing the coil, I used the horn (I think, it was black and switched +12V) wire, as I dont have one. The instructions said anything that provides 12V is good.

i don't remember splicing into a wire at all

i can look at the instructions for mine and send them onto you this evening if you still need them then.

oops, didn't mean to imply that, I've had a few stella in my time, but it wasn't first choice.

I'm sure you are a level headed individual that knows his limits when it comes to alcohol consumption.
