Yes, they both have 35mm fork tubes.
But these are among the best that I've found :

The Dunstall part numbers for these are different. CB750 clipons are 1017 and the ones listed for the CB500 in the catalogues I have are 1019. Also they do not use the standard fork tube top nuts on the ones for the CB500. Instead thay had a smaller hole and were supplied with specially made alloy fork tube top nuts. This is likely due to the pinch bolt position on the CB500 top yoke compared with the top yoke of the CB750. I would suggest that they are not interchageable between models - hence the model specific designs originally produced. There was also a set specially made for the CB250/350 part number 1022.

I guess thats a deal breaker then :(
I have aftermarket aluminum top nuts that are drilled for air-assist. They are much larger than stock.

I'll just keep looking for nice clip ons. I want ones that clip below the triples but rise even or above them.. I don't want to lower my front end to put them on top..

You might want to check out the clipons that are from a 84-86' Honda VF500 interceptor.

I shimmed them on my 400f to work and they feel great! Plus, they look stellar!!

And I believe they are 35mm, cause the 400f's forks are 33mm's.

Good luck
