Hi all you big borers,

Am I pleased I found you, as I am just starting to build an 836 Wiseco/Megacycle motor.
The problems you have encountered have all been noted and will hopefully save me any frustration when it runs next year.
We have just started our 3rd season in classic sprinting (drag racing) still useing a stock motor in a 1970 spec Daytona chassis.
Can't wait for next year and the big motor.

Mine was back in the Greenspun days and I had leaking fork seal. The first response was from that mythical being Glenn Stauffer himself. I bought some NeverLeak brand, they did not live up to the name. This year I changed them OEM Honda which I found out were still available on this forum. It is the place for good advice.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

I seem to have lost one of the pin/dowels that assist in lining up the shifter side cover.
Can I install without one?"

April 14, 2005.

I just put a set of MAC  mufflers on my CB350F. They went on relatively easy. I did have to shorten the stock headpipes just a little. In my case that was a good thing since one pipe had a hole right where it joined the muffler.

I seem to recall some posts before this one....but thats what the forum said...

Certainly lurked a long time

   Well, I was going to try to send a quote of my first post to this thread and all I ended up doing was to send my old thread forward to today's date! ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

That's it, I'm tired and going to sleep. ;)

BTW, my first post was Dec. 26, 2005 about the interchangeability of the CB500/550 frames and engines.

this is from july 24th 2007, second post (first was an intro)

as far as i've been told (never tried it myself) alot of older wet clutch bikes cant use synthetic oil. it has something to do with not enough friction for the clutch plates. if i'm wrong please tell me so, if you've done this before. i just buy the gallon jugs of honda 20/50 oil when it's oil change time.

second post was the intro.

first post was to a thread titled: Just hit a F------ deer!!

Go buy lottery tix right now. Really.
I dunno about the deer call though - at least 80% of the deer hits at the local body shop (Central OR) are wearing them!
Happy trails!

he was wondering if those deer whistle things work - calls 'em in real good, imo.
